Threats of industrial action by the Anambra labour over non implementation of the minimum wage in the senior cadre of the State civil service has again be rebuffed by the State Governor Mr Peter Obi.
You will recall that Anambra State pays the least to workers in its payroll in the Federation. A civil servant on grade level 17 in the State goes home with N150,000 while his counterpart in Federal service and most states of the federation goes home with between N350000-400000.
Mr Obi spoke at Onitsha while trying to convince the traders to vote for Obiano whom he described as the hope for continuity and the best man for the job. He explained that Labour has no
justifiable reason to go on strike since the
State Government has met the demands
of Labour in respect of Minimum Wage.

I don't understand how an acclaimed competent and award winning governor would have issues paying minimum wage, anyways this sums up my opinion that none of the three major aspirants deserve to rule Nigeria. They don't have Nigerians in mind may God save us. May God save us from this charade of competence

There will be no need for strike. Strike is a product of a failed system

It is true Doctors was on strike for 13 months and ASUU was on strike for about 5 months during his tenure.

Obi's past records as Governor buttresses the fact that he is a 3rd class brain.

Where there is a past, there will always be a throwback to guide us into the future.

A future that has Obi as President, is a bleak one.You cannot give what you do not have.

Obi is a fig tree that cannot bear fruit.

Let us be guided in our decision to rescue our economy.

Vote 1st class brain.

Lagos State under Tinubu was the 1st State government to agree to pay the federal minimum wage to state workers.

If the IPPIS wasn't introduced, no government in Nigeria could have paid salary, there were alot of issues of ghost workers then.
God bless Ngozi Okonjo iweala and one good thing then was that Peter Obi followed suit and sanitized the state civil service system and ever since then, the issue of strike vanished in Anambra. I like people who find permanent solution to a problem and not quick fixes that's where Buhari administration failed.
