First of all for disclosure purposes, I own a Bamboo D700 tablet and I spoke to them extensively before I made my purchase so I guess I can answer a few of your questions.

Battery life: The company says that you have up to 44 hours of talk time if you use a 2G network and 25hours if you use a 3G network as well as 1048 standby time. So far, I have not spoken for 25 hours yet :-) but the battery is very good. Infact, I use it to charge my Blackberry sometimes!

Android version: It runs on Android 4.0.4 but it is upgradable to whatever Android version you want. The manufacturers say their tests were conducted with this version.

TV & radio: One of the best features! No streaming required. You get local TV stations. When I'm in Lagos, I get TVC, LTV etc. When I go to Akure, I get the local TV stations there as well.

Free Data: They also gave me a free Airtel SIM and 1.2G of data (ie 200MB of data for 6 months). I'm in my first month and so far so good. There's also a 12 month warranty card in the device box and options to have an extended warranty where they replace your tablet if it's lost.

This is definitely not a China product but assembled in Nigeria (Don't remember where I saw that though).

Lest I sound like a marketer for them please visit their website on www.bamboo.com.ng or call their Customer Service on 07012842937.
