To all effort the government of Nigeria are putting all hand on deck in settling the country number one problem which give It's citizens a hope for a better and bright Nigeria in the nearest future.
The Managing Director, China
Machinery Engineering Corporation,
Mr. Liu Zhao-Long, has said that the
Omotosho 500 Mega Watts (MW)
Power Plant in Ondo State is set for
commissioning on Saturday. Zhao-Long said, on Friday in Lagos,
that the four gas turbines would
be commissioned by President
Goodluck Jonathan and that the
project would be added to the
national grid. “We are set to commission the
Omotosho Phase 2. The four turbines
are contributing 500MW to the
national grid. “We have completed all the test
running, and we find it imperative
to hand it over to government after
the warranty period of a year
in overseeing the plant,” Zhao-Long
said. He commended the effort of the
Federal Government towards ensuring
the availability of stable electricity
supply to Nigerians. The plant is the second of the 10
Nigerian Independent Power

management of the Niger Delta
Power Holding Company (NDPHC) Ltd.
to be commissioned. The 10 power plants include the
already commissioned 434MW Geregu

the then government of
former President Olusegun Obasanjo,
under the coordination of the
then Minister of Power, Liyel Imoke,
now the Governor of Cross River. But the project was abandoned
between 2007 and 2009 due to
funding arrangements. Work resumed on Omotosho power
plant project in 2010. President Goodluck Jonathan on Oct
ober 4, commissioned the 434MW

With all these work We can say that this present administration are really working for the interest of It's citizens.
