sharp man:

See how deceptive you are.

GEJ is looking for the whistle blowers that leaked the information so that he can sack them. If He is transparent and wants to fight corruption, he should sack the minister first for turning the NCAA into her procurement unit.

That's where am really worried! And that's why I fear for my beloved Nation! Imagine the rate of this kinda Rubbish going on in other Ministries and Agencies! Gej? Well, make I nor talk am now! Your tenure is almost over!

PurpleHouse: Seems they are more concerned about the leakage of the information than tackling the thieves Head-On!! SMH for this Nation. We are our own worst enemies, Nigeria is Purely in the Hands of Crooks!
In other words there are many things going wrong in Jonathan's admin that are hidden from our view. The few we get to hear about are only a tip of the iceberg but one day the iceberg will crash down and these gullible 160 million souls would have no one to blame but themselves.

Dee60: What is the definition of Criminal? The man who stole or the man who exposed them?

In Nigeria, the answer is = the man who exposed the deal!
So true, so sad.

ndu_chucks: There is a big difference between leaking information which contains government secrets which pose a threat to national security and exposing abuse/criminal activities of government officials. Those who expose criminal acts should be protected but the FG wants to punish them instead. What we need is a whistle blower law to protect these heros who expose criminality.

The days of these criminals in government are numbers. Soon enough the masses and hopefully the youths will rise up against them, or the military will step in. Enough is enough.

We, Nigerians don't know and understand our Rights! This act alone is enough to spark-off some serious out cry from the Nigerian Youths, NANS, etc! But hey; we would rather suffer and keep smiling with an empty stomach than fight for our rights and childrens future!
We can start from here, right here in NL...... Our leader have got to know we are aware of the Sh***t they're turning Our Country into vis a vis Our Finances!!!!!! Yet ASUU are on strike! No wonder Asari Dokubo doesn't see himself as a Nigerian anymore! Pathetic Country!

Tolexander: nonsense!

Procuring cars at an inflated price with no due process isn't criminal
and doesn't pose any danger to the sensitive government agency at this time when aircraft seems to be falling like snow?

Won't be suprised if at the end of the day nothing is done to those
involved in the procurement and stella oduah but those involved in the leakage of the information, punished.

That goes to show the insane state of the country u call 'Nigeria'. Instead of fighting why such an amount of money was spent on frivolity in a God's forsaken nation at this time, they are threatening to sack those who leaked the info just to uphold the interest of the nation. How many of such are we not aware of. This is just becos this one found it way out of the basket. Smh!

Many government agencies reeks of scandals, and in the coming days, more and more scandal would be unravelled.

They want to set up a committee to investigate the leaked report of the scandal, and sack whoever is responsible. This is pure hypocrisy, selfishness and executive recklessness. There is nothing criminal in exposing mass scale corruption in public office. I understand that the national security could be endangered if such scandals are leaked, but is that an excuse to allow corruption to continue to reign? And if the whistle blowers are sacked, then the working of the FOI bill would be greatly inhibited.

part from NCAA, which is the prime target, staff of other agencies in the sector like the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) are not free from the eagle eyes of investigators as the government is said to be suspecting that they leaked the information to the media.
so they want to be spending our money the way they like without accounting for it........GOD DEY

Wannabe Whistle Blowers soon end up as Rumour Blowers when they spread falsehood about the Govt. in order to gain sympathy.
Spreading falsehood about an institution you serve is clearly an act of Sabotage, especially when open evidence indicate the falsehood.

Of course such lies will be punished severely if found within the civil service, since it is a blatant display of sabotage against the goals of the very institution you serve.

In addition 2 ur other points, Coscharis which is a private sector should also be held accountable 4 facilitating this fraud, so that company should also face d wrath of d law with Mrs Oduah n others from that ministry. Can u imagine Government. The issue of mis-conduct is primarily not there problem, but a problem of disloyalty to the leakage is there next point of call. What leakage? That this currupt act was carried in the mouthless silence of the NCAA there by leading them into debt crisis and what I read is heads may roll for the leakage. To hell with d government if they let innocent ppl loose there jobs because of the truth. I see this not as disloyalty but patriotic heroism.
