The Lagos State governor, Babatunde Fashola (SAN), said all is set to build a medical village in the state, which will help restrain Nigerians from seeking foreign medical service.
Fashola made this known when members of the West African College of Surgeons led by its President, Professor Harve Yangni-Angate paid him a courtesy visit at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
This move according to the Governor: "Will help restrain Nigerians from seeking foreign medical service. We have received a few applications from interested medical practitioners.
“With this, we will have a cluster of health practitioners. And I believe that this will help turn the state into medical hub for the country."
