Champions League Preview And Predictions by Nimen(m): 9:08am On Oct 23, 2013
CSKA MOSKVA V MANCHESTER CITY

at Arena Khimka
CSKA will be without stars Alan Dzaegoev and Rasmus Elm with Seydou Doumbia still doubtful. City has won two of their last five games and need maximum points to be abreast the already fleeting Bayern Munchen. CSKA has only won one in their last five games. With the water-log prone Arena Khimka being another major wahala.
Prediction- 1:2

BAYER LEVERKUSEN V SHAKHTAR DONETSK

The Germans picked up their first win in Group A last time out, an injury-time goal earning then a 2-1 win at home to Real Sociedad. Both teams need a victory to consolidate a top two finish in their group. Leverkusen has won four of their last five games, while Shakhtar is still in pole position in the Ukrainian premier league
Prediction- 1:1

MANCHESTER UNITED V REAL SOCIEDAD

La Real have had a poor run in their first Champions League since 2003/2004 season. Having lost to both Leverkusen and Shakhtar, meaning getting a point at the theatre of dreams will boost their hope of getting into the next round.
United may have a bad run in the Premier League but they've been superb in Europe, beating Leverkuen and earning a draw at Donetsk, they may be missing four players: Danny Welbeck, Nemanja Vidic, Tom Cleverley and Rio Ferdinand. With the Belgian born wonderkid Adnan Januzaj being cleared for this game, he may have a champions league debut in his hands.
Prediction- Though i'm a Chelsea fan Man Utd will win this game convincingly 4:1

GALATASARAY V F.C COPENHAGEN

Both teams had been mauled by Madris buh FCK have bounced back from their loss with two straight superliga wins which according to Solbakken has shown how far they've come. With Hakan Balta limping off at the weekend, he's set to miss along with Hamit Altintop. Copenhagen however hope to have their influential winger Daniel Braaten back from injury before facing the Turks
Prediction: 3-1

REAL MADRID V JUVENTUS

The game of the week. With Bale still under pressure to perform. Los Blancos has been more impressive in the Champions League this season beating Gala 6-1 and Copenhagen 3-0. But the Turin Club has drawn both of their Champions League game, with Juventus' being a big team and all they've been having tough times with big teams this season.
Prediction- 2:1

ANDERLECHT V PARIS St GERMAIN

With Anderlecht struggling at fifth in the Belgian Jupiler league and PSG unopposed Ligue 1 leaders. This game could be a swift massacre for the Parisians. A third consecutive victory will see Blanc's men extend their Unbeaten Continental run to eleven (11) games. Anderlecht have won only two of their last 10 Champions League matches. It could be a walk over for the Parisians
Prediction- 0:3

BENFICA V OLYMPIAKOS

With PSG as favourites to win the group, the gauntlet for the second spot fall to this two clubs, which will be decided over two legs.
Jorge Jesus' men are enjoying a six game unbeaten run in the Portuguese Primera Liga buh still in the third position.
Olympiakos who are also enjoying an eight game unbeaten run in all competitions being beating last by PSG three weeks ago
Prediction- 1:1

BAYERN MUNCHEN V VICTORIA PLZEN

Bayern has six points from their las two Champions League games and will like to take advantage of the stalemate between CSKA and City.
While Plzen has found it tough losing 3-0 to Manchester City and 3-2 to CSKA. With these statistics it is safe to say that the game will be a walk over for the German champions.
Prediction: 4-0 if not more cheesy grin
