Michael Jackson was truelly a music legend. His influence, not only in music, is extra-broad. Mj did really set the stage for almost all black musicians of future generations. Globally, the artistes he inspired are countless. Some of the prominent figures are Bobby Brown, Usher, Rkelly, Mc Hammer, Destiny's Child, Justin Timberlake, Boyz 2 Men, Jodeci, Bobby Vinton, Mary J Blirge, and host of others.
Well, Usher, took direct inspiration from Marvin Garye, Prince, Sam Cooke, James Brown and Michael Jackson's showmanships. Usher was to be the musician who would, with his own unique style apart from his inspirations, create the type of music and musical videos that artists of the late 20th and all of the 21st centuries would stand. With a creative combo of Prince, Marvin Garye, James Brown and Jackson plus his very own signature, the pretty young man was unarguably the leader of his generation. In the early 21st century, many new Ushers emerged in the likes of Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Omarion, Mario, Bobby Valentino, Marques Houston, Trey Songz, Prince Royce & cos. In interviews with local musicians all over the world, Usher has been professed as ultimate inspiration. But one fact is, he remains the most UNDER-APPRECIATED, and undervalued musician in whole of music history. For instance, Chris Brown was shot to fame after performing like Usher in My Way.
Ush redefined Motown's greats styles and started the tone of music the world would follow thereafter.

But, between the two, who inspired both local and international artists most??
