LG has officially announced its latest curved-screen smartphone, the G Flex. It is the “world’s first real curved smartphone” designed with flexible OLED screen technology LG says. Weighing only 177g, LG G flex is designed with more flexibility in mind. It comes with 720p display and powered by a 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.

Other main specifications of the LG G Flex include 2GB of RAM, 13MP Camera with LED flash and 3,500 mAh battery for seamless phone functionality. It effectively runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean dressed in LG’s proprietary UI.

LG says the G Flex is built with the “self-healing” technology and was compared to Wolverine from the blockbuster movie X-Men. “self-healing” is a protective film on the back cover of the phone that is specially designed to get rid of
