PrinzOfParis... Irrespective of where you got your figures from, you just help to put clarity (or at least something to hold on to) on the process. I'm a bit sceptical about only 700 making AC but then again u said to take the figures with a pinch of salt. What I'd like to know is at what point did they scale back the numbers to ⅔ of the original figure? (Again no one should quote me that I am taking his figures as Holy grail but I like to work with specifics and he has given me a play tool by mentioning exact figures)

Then over to the current raging war. Aphrodite4 is some one I do not know but have, shall we say, strong emotions for. Remember how Eminem made Dido or how Jay-Z made Mr Hudson blow? I engaged her in "battle" on one question dropped here pre-SHL (might have been pre-WAEC I don't remember exactly) and we brawled until she saw reason with me and backed down acknowledging my solution was correct. Na from that day I get small credibility on this thread. And she earned my respect. So anytime I see a comment from her I'm always interested in reading it. She seems to have a very strong and forceful personality given her comments but I don't think she meant to insult. The drawn out nature of this thing is bound to make us snap at some point.

Fork and kaitung, you guys shouldn't take it P.

Then sombori said LadyF is taken. Taken by whom? To where? grin I hope that person knows that ayam a former boxer cum wrestler now fighting Boko Haram in d northeast. Taken faya. Unless you mean taken by NLNG.

And here I thought we were Bonnie and Clyde. Well thank goodness you used two of my all time favorites in your analogy. Em & Jay
Bdw I ddnt snap (or I should say I don't snap) it was more like a "surely I'm not the only one that thinks this" kinda moment (ok maybe I did snap just a little bit, lol). Well, that moment's passed. Interestingly I noticed a good number of people who, ..well let's leave that before folks start on how I'm "insulting" their central repository. What's done is done, what needs doing needs doing; best to get on that.
xoxo

But seriously, this set of GT intakes look set to become exceptional given the amount of bonding time we've had which could mean hitting the ground running when it comes to any sort of team activity. I mean, we all know ourselves already. 2+ years no be small o. (I personally started following this thread March 2014 on the day of the WAEC test) On induction day please everyone pin your moniker next to your real name so we can easily put a face to the online persona. But then that only happens if a sizeable number of us make it through. We might as well just do the meetups and then in the end whatever happens happens. At least we've made new proper friends not just monikers.

Then to the small matter of some of our personas that have somehow stood out for the wrong reasons, I'd like to say that we are human beings and as such have shortcomings and people are just the way they are. We all interact with people at our various places of endeavour and we know for a fact that people are just people. For me it's not really an issue people being occasionally impatient, too quick to judge, disrespectful, unforgiving, arrogant, ungrateful etc as long as they have the humility to afterwards offer or accept an apology and take correction.

What I've said is nothing we don't already know, I just thought we needed to be reminded.

I already have plans to print it to our Lagos meeting if and when we eventually meet.
