Help! Help! Help! Someone Needs Your Help. by bunmixl(f): 5:00pm On Jul 09, 2008
I greet you in the name of GOD ALMIGHTY.

My name is Bunmi, a native of Lagos state, Nigeria. I am 28 years old, a fresh graduate of computer science.

I was raised together with my two kid sisters and supported through school by my single parent mother, from next to nothing.

I grew up watching my mum do almost anything to put food on the table. So, my greatest dreams has been to get a good university degree (of which I have struggle and worked hard to get), get a good job, save some money then go on to start up my own Information Technology firm and most importantly take my mum and two sisters out of the poverty life into the good life and lastly start up some thing to help the less privileged ones around me.

Today it seems I will never achieve these dreams unless I get the help of kind hearted people out there like you

Early last year, I started feeling slight pains in my left breast. The pain kept coming and going (on and off) until three months back, the pain came and wouldn’t leave. I took every pain relieving tablet and also tried some of our traditional medicine I could lay my hands on, but there was no improvement.

Early last month I went to see a doctor for medical check up to examine my breast as advised by a very good friend. After the check up I was told by the doctor that I have a growth (I hate to use the name breast cancer). in my left breast and would need to undergo a surgery, otherwise the growth will gradually kill me. I was directed to a specialist hospital where I was admitted for two days. After further check ups, (scan and mammography) I was told I would need nothing less than   THREE HUNDERD AND FIFTY THOUSAND NAIRA (=N=350,000 ) to undergo the surgery to remove the growth.

Fortunately or unfortunately the only family I know is my two kid sisters and my mum (but I decided no to tell my mum about the growth because she will cry hell and worry her self to death) this is why I resolved to using this means to ask for help from kind hearted people out there.

At this junction I want to beg every body out there to please, please and please help me in any way you can. Please make a little donation to help me raise the money for the surgery so as to save my life. Please help me, abeg, abeg, NOTHING IS TOO SMALL.

I would really appreciate it with all my heart for the rest of my life if you could come to my aid.

AS YOU MAKE DONATIONS TO HELP SAVE MY LIFE, I PRAY THAT GOD ALMIGHTY SHOWER HIS ABONDANT GRACE AND BLESSING ON YOU. MAY HE GUIDE, GUARD AND PROTECT YOU AND MAY HE REPLENISH YOUR POCKET IN A MILLION FOLDES. AMEN.

To make donations, please contact Bunmi via e-mail address bworldxl@yahoo.com call or text  +2348051442036. Thank you and GOD bless you. AMEN.

Well, I Feel For You But I Still Don't Think Going For A Surgery Is The Best Option. Btw, If I Told You, You Could Get That Growth Off With Far Less Than That, Not By Surgery. Call Me For More Info If You Really Want It Off, Btw, Talking Abt Raising Funds Over The Internet, Is It Really Gonna Work? Just Wondering, Anyways, Like I Said, I Can Help You But Consistency Really Matters. You Can Reach Me On: +234-808-050-9163 So We Could Discuss. We'll Also Need To See So I Can Have A Full Picture Of What Am Dealing With. Have A Nice Day!

I maybe wrong, but how in the world are you going to get the growth off without surgery, are you a Doctor.

Going Through A Surgery Is One Long Process And On The Long Run, May Have Side Effects, Why Not Deal With It From The Grass Root, From The Inside, The Natural Way, Sure, You Would First Of All Need To Go Through A Detoxifying Program Before Starting Out On The Actual Treatment. Well, Am Not A Doctor But I Help People Balance Their Body Chemistry, Am A Nutritionist.

Here we go again,
my sister its money you need, dont answer anyone who tells you to bring money for any 'solution', such people only feed off your misery.
I feel for you but knoiw this, no one makes a definitive diagnosis of cancer by just physical examination, its for now at best just a breast mass and judging by your age, its probably not a cancer, all you may be doing is just a lumpectomy which will now be sent for histology to know the nature. S pls put your mind at rest, its probably not, there are many causes of a painful unilateral breast mass.
As for the mone being that much, forget it, im sure its a private hospital, ill advise you go a teaching hospital, ive worked in one before and i know their workings,it'll probably cost about 1/8th of that.
if you are in lagos, go to luth, and i may direct you personally to surgeons in OAU ife.they'll make it easier and less stressful and you'll get god treatment by that referral.
you can contact me at rednosedeer@lycos.com
wish you all the best or 01-7411319

Well, Like I Said, I Still Don't Think You Should Go For A Surgery. You See, What Most People Don't Understand And What Most Doctors Would Porbably Not Tell You Is The Side Effects Of Treating Such Diseases Through SURGERY And Its Just Simply Because They Don't Know It! You See, After Going For A Surgery, Even When The Immediate Results Are Excellent, Unless The Factors That Cause The Problem Are Changed, The Growth Itself Is Liable To Form Again Within A Few Years. A Much More Satisfactory Form Of Treatment Is To Remove The Factors That Cause The Problem And So, Start To Reverse The Disease Process. As The Disease Make Take A Life Time To Delevop, We Should Not Be Surprise It Takes A Few Years To Reverse. Thats Why I Said, Consistency Really Matter But The Encouraging Things Is That Disease Reversals Are Felt Long Before The Process Is Complete. Have A Nice Day!

like i said earlier
dont pay anyone ok? most of the so called 'advice' all boil down to people trying to sell you one thing or the other, go to a teaching hospital, i already gave you contacts the phone line will be viable for another week, after that you'll have to email me to reach me.
Growths regrowing is subject to the pathological nature, that will only be know when it is removed and sent for histological analysis.
do whats best for you.
im almost sure its benign.

Perhaps I have been away for too long but how could the doctor tell you had cancer without a biopsy? How large is the growth? What did the mammogram show? You are a young lady, was an ultrasound performed? I am extremely skeptical about your diagnosis and suggest you get a second opinion
Re: Help! Help! Help! Someone Needs Your Help. by reindeer: 12:48am On Jul 16, 2008
my sentiments exactly.
except, is this a scam message?
Re: Help! Help! Help! Someone Needs Your Help. by Nobody: 11:42am On Jul 25, 2008
I see this message more as a scam than a call for help.
If you are really sincere about what you wrote and really need help, the problem  is not about raising funds its about giving you the right help.
I will suggest and advice you go for prayers.
There is nothing God cannot do and av seen worse cases treated with just prayers.
I advice you go to Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministeries  for more counselling and prayers.
Thank you

Sorry to hear abt all this. Your doctor 'beliveves' u got cancer and probably wants to perform an excision biopsy - this is where the growth is taken out as a whole and samples of it sent to a lab to confirm if it is benign or malignant. All i can say is pls dnt WASTE ANY TIME . The fact that the tumor seems like its well circumscribed means u must try to remove it before it attaches or grows on to something else, making it more difficult to operate on. Theres also the risk of metastases, where cells from the tumor travel to other parts of the body and form other tumors. I saw a 28 yr old lady who came in coughing with hardly any flesh left on her and severe pain. She had stage IV breast cancer and was just coming into hospital for the first time. Nothing could be done, i will never forget how she looked. She too knew it was too late. Pls go to your nearest TEACHING HOSPITAL , NOW !

@ post: At closer inspection, this actually looks like a bogus message. If so, my advice to you is FORGET IT ! There r no moneybags on nairaland.
Even if theyre dying, they expect that u give them treatments & cures for free while they hold on to their money. Lol! Let alone help another 'dying' person. Lol !
