Any1 with useful info shld pls help...

Som1 told my sis dat diaz a 1yr graduate entry level course a biochemist can embark on in Med lab sci after which a cert in MLS will b issued, thus 1 can work as a certified lab sci (probably one of d specialized field in mls ie mcb, bch, chem path etc)

Is there any course lyk dis? If not wat oda ways can one study sth in MLS as a biochem graduate. Any info 'll b appreciated.

it's a 2-year course in med lab sci but it's bn stopped. You can only be a med lab scientist now by entering the course thro direct entry i.e. into 2nd yr or thro utme. No other way again. I know pple who did d 2 yr programme and i wld have done it if it had not been phased out.

You are absolutely right.The programme has been stopped.Now u obtain the degree by direct entry.

D regulating body for med lab sci said med lab sci is a professional course, hence d 2-yr programme must stop except by direct entry as is obtainable in medicine.
