Muslims Please Beware Of These So-called Islamic websites! by babs787(m): 8:50pm On Jul 09, 2008 |
Salam brothers and sisters in faith. Please beware of sites listed below. The sites have been de eloped by enemies of Islam to spread wrong information about Islam, Quran, Hadith. Endeavor to check the authenticity and source of any purported Islamic websites before reading through Below are some of anti-Islamic websites List of anti Islaamic sites and Exposé of 3 sites posting false convert stories Exposé of three sites posting false convert stories 1. http://www.islamreview.com This site has posted fake stories of how Muslims converted to Christianity. How do I know? Read the following excerpt from one of the stories: First the 'convert' says: (emphasis added) In the end, I managed to convince my mother, as it was for Allah and I joined the Islamic College. Having graduated as an ustaz, I was soon posted to my neighbourhood… And then: My trip to Mecca for the Haj (pilgrimage) was tiring but eventful. I did not have the rare opportunity to see inside the holy Kabah and the holy idols inside, which Prophet Muhammud had helped to place, as explained in Bukhari’s Hadith An Ustaz (scholar) in Islaamic Studies is saying that there are idols inside the Kabah and that too placed by Muhammad (saw) himself!?!?! This clearly shows that the author is deliberately trying to spread misinformation about Islaam and wants to convey to possible reverts to Islaam that it is religion of idol worship. In fact most of the Christian sites use this tactic of false convert stories but it's not always possible to prove it 2. http://www.faithfreedom.org/ AlhamduliLlaah I was able to catch another site posting fake stories of Muslims leaving Islaam. See the false information imparted here. That the attempt is deliberate is known through the claim that the 'convert' has done detailed study about the topic. For Islamic Education, I had to study about marriage in detail to do well. So, I learnt all the stuff and got the highest grade anyone can get for Islamic Education. And guess what? Because I know it so well, I know that there is a lot of discrimination against women in Islam. Things like a father and grandfather can marry a girl/woman to whomever they want even if the girl/woman doesn’t want to marry that person… In addition, I learned things like women couldn’t be witnesses in Syariah Courts and things like that The first point here is a total lie whereas the second is a distorted version of the truth. 3. http://www.answering-islam.org/Testimonies/younathan.html Here's yet another extract from a false convert story aimed at spreading misinformation about Islaam. As I started thinking about my life and the Quran, I realized all Muslims, even the prophet Muhammad, would go to Hell for certain sins they committed in their lifetime. This is a common ploy of the Christian Missionaries. They first inform gullible victims that Jesus (God) is Love and just by believing in the Crucifixion, you will be assured of Paradise. Whereas the concept of God in Islaam is so harsh that no one will be spared from Hell and that even Prophet Muhammad (saw) was not sure of where he would end up. For this purpose they quote an ayat of the Qur'aan out of context. Here there have gone a step further by saying that even our beloved Prophet (saw) would have to go through hell. Nothing could be further from the truth. Salam alaikum brothers and sisters, May Allah reward Babs for this humble work. These are sites that some of these Christians find their 'facts' from. And many unsuspecting Muslims also fall prey of these sites. This is why as Muslims we are expected to have not only the basic knowledge, but also further knowledge[especially on aqeedah(creed)] so that we can be able to discern the truth from falsehood no matter who is saying it. While doing some research on the internets some time ago I came across some information from some supposed Islamic websites, but with the little knowledge I had I was able to identify that these were fake websites. One website was trying to say there is temporary marriage in Islam. This is obviously one of the deviant beliefs and practices of Shiites, yet nothing showed on the website that it was a Shiite website(If I knew it was a Shiite website,I wouldn't have gone there in the first place to source for info). But seeing that devilish article,I closed the site knowing it was a fake website obviously promoted by Shiites. Unfortunately I have read one Christian nairalander here claiming there is the practice of temporary marriage in Islam. He could have got such satanic info from such websites. I have also come across another 'Islamic' website that says Islam supports anal sex. The website was using the hadith that says you can approach your wife from the front or rear. Meanwhile scholars have explained that the hadith means you can approach your wife's private part from the front or back(different styles). Both involves penetrating the V but from different sides. Whether front or back, the penetration is only for the V. But unfortunate these evil people interprete this to mean approaching from the back means penetrating through anus. But alhamdulilah, with my little knowledge of Islam having read and heard reputable and trusted Islamic scholars explain this hadith in the past,I knew the website was evil. So brothers and sisters, this is how knowledge can be of help in sieving authentic Islamic internets from fake ones. I recommend Islamqa.com to all as a reliable website run by trusted scholars like Sheikh Saalih Munajid and other highly knowledgable sholars. |

Here's one I found - it's more of a pseudo porn site for muslim http://www.wae.org/islam/free-islam.htm A CALL TO FREE THINKING MUSLIMS AND EX-MUSLIMS: World Art Erotica is a resource of links and information for those who are working for a more tolerant and sensual version of Islam than that which is espoused today. For liberal moderate Muslims, Ex-Muslims and those who are interested in promoting more tolerance and social freedoms in the Islamic world we would like to offer this page as a resource. Muslim moderates can no longer be silent. For too long they have said nothing whilst fanatics have hijacked the religion. Speaking personally, as a former Muslim I am proud to be part of this effort. I know that I can stand in front of Allah (God) and be judged because my heart and conscience are clean. I think Allah pays much more attention important aspects of a person's morals and behaviour than their sexuality. I do not think it is wrong to be a "Gay Muslim". That is for Allah to judge. Neither is it wrong to be a sexually liberated Muslim woman who desires sex with more than one man. And only Allah can decide whether it is wrong to leave the religion. No religion should use the death penalty to keep it's members as is the case with Saudi Arabia and Iran amongst others. Only the Mafia retains it's members in this way. We would like to invite all Practising Muslims who are liberally oriented, Ex-Muslims, Feminist Muslims, Gay Muslims and other related entities to contribute stories, articles and information about sexuality and feminism in the Muslim world. Also information on contact ads, clubs and other organizations that promote a more liberal tolerant Islam. We will give complete confidentiality to all submissions unless you wish otherwise. Here are some examples of brave Muslims challenging "traditional" interpretations of Islam: * Salaam: A resource for Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Muslims. Creates and fosters a supportive and understanding environment for lesbian, gay and bisexual Muslims to socialize, and to offer each other support in reconciling and coming to terms with their spirituality/culture/heritage and their sexual orientation. Languages: English, Arabic, Persian, Swahili, Somali, French, Urdu, Kutchi, Punjabi & Italian. * In the Name of Allah: the world's first documentary to explore the complex intersections of Islam with Gender and Sexuality. * Al-Fatiha:an international support group for gay, lesbian, bixexual and transgendered Muslim. * Secular Islam: Institute for the Secularization of Islamic Society |

They even have a page for POSITIVE Muslim Feedback and NEGATIVE Muslim Feedback On the POSITIVE Muslim Feedback page, it reads: Believe it or not there are actually some Muslims in the world who support what we are trying to do! There ARE Muslim men and women who are enjoying their sensuality without the usual patriarchal constraints, shame and guilt of traditional Islamic society. Some Muslims do not like what we have to say but support our right to say it. We agree, "Let Allah be the judge not man". Please note that all names have been changed to protect the authors' confidentiality. Many would be jailed or even executed by their "Muslim" brothers if there identities were to be made public. On the Negative Muslim Feedback page, it reads: Unlike most Muslim countries where free speech and dissent are strictly controlled and repressed we encourage feedback, both positive an negative. It is only with free open discussion that we can cast light on the dark corners of the world. It is our effort to promote freedom for Muslim women and to espouse a more tolerant and sensual and forgiving form of Islam than that which rules the Muslim world today. All replies are exactly as they were written including spelling errors those who wrote to us in CAPITAL letters! It is great to let hear these "Muslims" and to see the kind of intolerant hate and violence that they promote in the name of Allah. We don't need to add anything more!! However, not all Muslims hate us! Click here for some Positive Muslim Feedback "Of course, all is not negative check out some of our Positive Muslm Feedback!" This is emphasized on the Negative Muslim Feedback page |
