FIFA release a 23-man list for the World Player of the Year award, which holds in Zurich, January 13th,2014.

World record signing Gareth Bale, who moved from Tottenham to Real Madrid for a record £85m is also on the list.

Eden harzard, Mesut Ozil, Luis Suarez, Yaya Toure and Robin van Persie are the Five English Premiere League stars on the list.

Barcelona's Lionel Messi will be hoping to retain the award which he has won four times in a row, Christiano Ronaldo will be looking to topple the Argentine.

The 23-man list will be reduced to 3 in December, 2013, before the winner will be announce in Zurich ,13 January, 2014.
