Good people ,I need your candid advice.I currently work as a marketer in a company and have always seek a change because its a one-man company if u uderstand what I mean. One day,I got a call from a similar but well organized company's HR.who asked me to come for a meeting. He asked me questions like how much I was bn paid presently which I inflated ,he asked me who my refrees were I tld him,he asked me who I report to directly in the office,I tld him I report tomy marketing manager. He asked for my marketing manager's number and said he wanted to get some informations about me from him. Right now,I wish I didn't give him my marketer's number because he is giving my marketing manager an appointment letter tomorrow while I haven't even gotten a call from him for a long time, when I call him,he doesn't pick. Can someone tell me where I went wrong? What I shd have done instead or what you think I should do now.Do you think my Marketing Manager went to talk me down and got the job or was getting the marketing manager the original plan from the onset?I am heart broken because I didn't know we can climb on some other's shoulders at the expense of their emotion to reach our heights. |
