Well, looking at the number of people registered on nairaland, one can assuredly say that none of us magically appeared on nairaland?  Hence my topic, how did you learn of its (nairaland's) existence? |

I learnt about nairaland when I made a search on Google and one of the sites that popped up having an answer to my search was nairaland. I started visiting as a guest, regularly. it was later that a friend of mine who happened to be a nairalander advised me to register to enjoy nairaland to the fullest. Lol apparently, He wasn't lying!! |

Mine was like a self-discovery thing, being the kind of person that i am, i enjoy surfing the net a lot. I used the google search for anything whatsoever and Nairaland always answered whatever i asked about. Then i deemed it fit after some months to become a member and quit being a guest. 1 Like |

An uncle when i was taking his son as an home tutor in one of the aluta riots that lead to the closure of the school. When he told me about what he read on nairaland, i was just naive about the site and had to log in to the site the following day and sign up to the forum. |

my friend, then my brother. I didn't visit the website then, but I visited Google to search for my brother's admission requirements and there was naira land link. I decided to use the link cos I actually needed comments from different ppl. Again, I noticed some Nigerians can be very hilarious so I lingered on as a guest. Then as a member. |
