But there was a £12million bid from juventus too, if you guys are so worried about him playing for a rival club you should have accepted that. oh wait, your stingy coach decided to go for the bigger money. Deal with it, you have £23million in the bank for your heartache.

RVP had only one good season. He refused to renew and Arsene couldn't find a good buyer. Juve failed in a £8 million pound bid not 12. If RVP had renewed and played another season, Arsene would have gotten a better deal after the trouble raising RVP.

Well, the point is Man Utd fans can tolerate their star player in another club, if the club is not a rival like CR7 to Real Madrid. Arsenal fans can't tolerate RVP because was is sold to a rival club.

dopeJemi: adebayor scored against his old club arsenal and he ran 4rm one end of d pitch 2 d other, van persie scored against his oLd club arsenaL, and celebrated d goal like it was d winning goal in a CL final, doesn't dat mean or tell u something? something is wrong with ur Fuccckkking cLub.. If van persie had known, I don't think he wouLd av condemned adebayor

Your statement ''If van persie had known, I don't think he wouLd av condemned adebayor'' , simply means you accepted that Van persie was wrong to celebrate when score against Arsenal..

There you have it

And you think u can present the above link as your proof? lol shocked
You're a comedian..

The link you provided did not state RVP refused to renew his contract because Arsenal refused to buy players.
If you rely on the statement ''disagree on the way the club should move forward.'', then i can mention more than 4 players Arsenal bought while RVP was there even shortly before he left.

The bitter truth is ''He left because of money''

My position is that if you guys cannot tolerate your player(important one for that matter ) going to a rival club, you shouldn't have sold for any amount on the first place. Take the gabriel heinze saga for example, fergie could not tolerate an important player going to a rival club like liverpool even though they brought an enticing bid, he refused to sell despite protest from heinze himself until madrid came in with a much lesser bid than liverpool's. So the only reason why wenger sold rvp to united was because of the large sum involved and you lot should be man enough to face the consequence.

van Persie has moved on to what he believes is better opportunity in his career [whether money-motivated or trophy-motivated or prestige-motivated, it doesn't concern anyone who's not van Persie!!!]& I see absolutely nothing wrong with it...

We did not offer more money or make any bid for him.Mancini identified RVP as the key to Man City's success last season. Mancini made his recomendation for the capture of RVP but the then heads of the board refused to make the bid. If we had put a higher bid, we would have gotten RVP. It was all about the Pounds.

This was one of the reasons the board heads were fired and replaced with the Barca's Soriano and Txiki.

All we saying is that Arsene and Arsenal sacrficed a lot to make him great and he let their faith down.

He should have renewed and let them have one more season with him. Also his celebration is like mocking them after going trophyless for years believing he will grow and lead them to success. He grows, leaves them with out a good sale and then mocking with his celebration.

BAD BAD BAD RVP.

Thank you.

They forgot Football is now a Super Business, not for fun/passion only like before..

Money making machine nowadays!
Even David Beckam that refused salary at PSG, he knows what Football already pumped into his pocket now before the PSG payment decision...
