The Lead City University, Ibadan, has been given an approval by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run its undergraduate programmes on part-time, evening and weekend mode, sequel to the lifting of moratorium on part-time programmes with effect from October 7, 2013. Making this known through a press release, was the Director, Corporate Affairs and Communications, Doctor Ayobami Owolabi, where he stated that with the approval, Lead City University, Ibadan, would be better at fulfilling one of its learners’ objectives which is to cater for both the young adolescents and the adult working class.

“It is gratifying to know that the NUC has granted approval for the university to run part-time mode in programmes like Accounting, Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, Politics and International Relation, Mass Communication and Media Technology, among others.

“The university indeed, recognises the need to accommodate the time constraints of individuals and therefore, provides flexibility by allowing for a choice between part-time and full-time studies,” he said.

To ensure that the university remains at the forefront of the latest developments in various fields of human endeavour, appropriate practical and relevant programmes are said to have been continually developed and delivered in a stimulating and vibrant learning environment where thoughts, concepts and visions are exchanged and vigorously debated.

I'll like to know much about the programme, but i think that uni must be a private University!
