Let's Celebrate Our Difference by Yungsavor(m): 12:04pm On Nov 04, 2013
Religion seems to have got things wrong.
It doesn't sing God's original song.
Great Spirit wanted us to love each other
Not criticise, scare and blame our brother.
Jesus does not want war at all.
Allah wanted us to be free
to understand the Holy Call.
Religion is to blame for much unrest
but only loves stands the test
of curing us of all our pain
so coming together would be a gain.
Ganesha would love us all to be
free to be who we were made to be.
Shiva only wants our happiness and Joy
Not each other to demean and destroy.
Mohamed would want us to forgive,
to let each other live and let live.
Wiseman Gandhi knew how beautiful we are
when we care more for the weak
than how important we think we are.
Master Confucius gave us wisdom its true
to teach us there is no difference
between me and you
Jehovah of Witnesses would love to see
us all embracing and not judging you and me.
G-d may be Jewish to some
but at the end of the day we are all his sons
Whether we study Jehovah , Judaism, Hinduism , Sikhism
Catholicism , Protestantism, Islamism or Confucianism
we are all one and the same.
Religion systematically markets fear
but compassion will bring you near,
to the One we all love best,
to the One who created this test.
We have only been separated by a name.
Let us put down our titles and labels
and replace them with love like we received in our cradle.
Let's understand that we all want to be
Connected to Source, to love and be free
