This where countries who where long time communist countries and they have a long way to go out.

Romania was a country where one man make what he want, he build houses and didnot look that his people have nothing to eat, that they couldnot heat there houses. But he has a house like the president of nigeria.

The next problem was that the people have to work in collective Farm so they didnot work hard.
There is a little bit a difference when you look at Hungary where they people could always have a a small part of land and that they get from this land they sell on the market, that was not possible in this other countries.

Why you didnot show us photos from the ukraine, from russia and other parts of europa where the communism was also.

It is easy to post photos and tell the people that Europa has poverty when you didnot write something.
I can show you also photos from america where people live in poverty.

The evil of communism and socialism....

Contrast that to open and free market economies...and you will see the glaring differences.

^^ Blame CORRUPTION and MISMANAGEMENT for this poverty, not communism or socialism etc.

Cuba, China etc were/are communist states, yet you rarely see this kind of grinding poverty there.

Here's Greece. Capitalist nation:

Guy.....don't compare apples to oranges.....the recession in Greece is temporary....the country have the capacity to bounce back in the long run.

How come most of those countries you listed above have the same economic model in common.

China is leaping because it has seen the light by abandoning it closed economy for a more robust controlled open economy....

Cuba? Don't let's start. Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I still maintain the opinion that socialism and communism are the undoing of those countries.

Dude, communism was eradicated from those states over 20 or 30 years ago. How long will you keep blaming their poverty on it?

There is nothing wrong with socialism, most north western European countries are socialist and they lead the charts in quality of life. For optimum levels of development you need a healthy bit level of socialism and capitalism. Communism on the other hand is universally bad.

ROSSIKE:
The countries above jettisoned communism even before China did, yet look at them.

That is true but there is some difference, China might maintain a communist policy with its people but the government is capitalist. China is a bit like Nigeria in that they claim one thing and then do another, you go to shanghai and everybody is rich and flying around in private jets, importing German cars then you go to Xinjiang and nobody can afford to eat. Romania and co operated communist governments and the politicians stole all the money but China actually operates a capitalist system for the ruling party and their friends and lets the other billion labor in factories in the name of communism.

The people in Greece still have 24/7 electricity, the life in greece is bad at the moment but not so bad than for about 50% of the people in Nigeria.
In greece when you build a house and it looks from outside that it is not finised than the people have to pay no tax to the goverment. I know hotelowners they pay only the have of the tax to the goverment they had to pay with the other part they bought ships, the goverment in greece has to much people who work for them than they get tax. What also broke Greece was that they want the olymic game in there country and they didnot realy have the money to make it. The goverment fake the bills, so what they have at the moment it is there own mistake.
See Austria and see Greece than you will see that scocial economic work.

Read this about greece than you will understand it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greece

Greece get at the moment much money from the rich coutries in europa, we help them

Look at the Countries Tschech and Slowakia they where together after 1945, Hungary and Austria after the second world war, all this countries start at the same level after the war Tschech, Slowakia and Hungary where communist countries and they have soldiers from russia in there country and Austria which was from 1945 until 1955 occupied from America, england, France and russia, we got free 1955.
The other countries got free 1989 from Communism when the minister oa foreignaffairs from austria and the minister from hungary cut the border between the two countries that the people from east germany could come out of hungary, that was the start.

I give you some informations about the gross domestic product of all europa countries.

I don't want to write about the photos you show about the poverty here in East europa because this people belong to the group of roma and sinti a tribe who lives hear in europa and they come 700 years ago from india. They are less educated, and they didnot want to work.
I can show you photos of this people, they get new houses from the goverment and after 5 years the houses look realy bad.
This tribe they have many kids, and the girls marry very early.
So when you are not educated than your chance to get a job here in Europa is not good.

Most of the people shown above have nothing to do with ''India''.

Why are you disowning them? Because they're poor?
