The main purpose of creating this forum is to share our ideas, and introduce the schools we go to or went to depends on the case.
These factors should be considered before replying this post

Location
Tuition cost
Available scholarships for Int'l students
Population of int'l students
Sights and sounds

School name- Grambling State University, only HBCU(Historical Black College and University) that played at the inauguration of President Obama
Location- Grambling, Louisiana
Scholarships- There's a sure Out of state waiver for int'l students which brings the tuition cost to $3000 per semester from the actual $9000 per semester as long as you keep up a minimum GPA of 3.0 every semesters
Things you need to know about living as an int'l student here is that if you are not up to 24 years, have 60 credits or have a blood relative that's your guardian, Louisiana law prohibits you from living by yourself, which in other case, you have to register to live on campus, which is a little bit expensive.
Nigerian student population is dropping now as most students that came in after 2011 started dropping out because they didn't get to know about housing laws that binds university to the state, they couldn't afford the tuition cost to live on campus cos most of them don't meet the required criteria, since the school has imposed a $20000 on any fresh applicants coming from Nigeria, and if you can't pay that, you don't gain admission to the school.
Although, they refund you back the remaining part of your money as soon as you get here, only if you meet the requirements to stay of campus. i.e they only take their $3000 and refund back to you $17000.
It doesn't affect any new students who wants to transfer from another university in USA, you don't need to pay $20000 to gain admission, only fresh applicants.
Education- Its a school where you need to be up to task and keep your gpa above 3.0, and you already know what that means.
There are a couple of neighboring universities around, Louisiana tech University, Southern, Louisiana state university in Baton Rouge and so on.
Sights and Sounds- As a black school, we have a lot of fun, Wale was here for our homecoming concert, future as been here before, and a lot more like that. So, it's a fun place to be.
school's website is www.gram.edu, check it out for more info
