My Goodness, this kind of thing happened to one art teacher in my school. A few students got through to her facebook where there were 'unprofessional' pictures of her in certain positions, she was drunk The students then printed out these pictures and stuck them all over the art department in school. She was sacked. |

People think that being online is like the lights are out and no one can see you. Or you are in a city where no one knows you. Then they go nuclear and drop theri guards. Then shit happens!! If you know say e no mean, why wont you post your real names, your real pictures etc Cos you guys got something to hide. If there's nothing to hide, then show yourself and take it as it is. @poster, I recently was interviewing and saw someone whom I had noticed here on NL. I can tell you that that person was exactly who she was in real life as in online. She had nothing to hide and the only thing that came out of it all was the fact that this person was true. No negatives at all. However, if I had found her to be different from her online persona, am sure I'd have been negatively biased. |

Re: Has Your Online Persona Hurt You In Real Life? by fotodaddy: 10:45pm On Jul 18, 2008 |
spikedcylinder: Welcome to the real world!!! A teacher is supposed to be a role model. What kind of role model would you like to have to teach your children A teacher who is meek and mild in the class room and a wild drunk after school?? I sure wouldnt want that kind of teacher for my child. You cannot live two different lives without them both being affected by each other my dear!!! Sorry but with freedom comes responsibility. Handle your freedom responsibly!!! |
