Why are we all watching the govt allocating our collective wealth to companies owned by individuals who automatically become multi-multi billionaires? If the govt is really serious about ending poverty then why cant it be that lets say all graduates of a particular discipline form a body andvget an oil well, iin such situation even if tge person did not get job he will be fine from the proceeds of their collective investment. So why are we watching as IBB, and down to goodluck just sit down and decide who to make a billionaire on our collective wealth, why? Please i believe this is serious matter.

Why does the government award turn around maintenance contracts awarded to a man who knows jack about refineries or mechanical engineering.

Even the rat in an oshodi sewer can answer that question Based on the poor quality on rubbish being dropped on the floor.

E.g a roasted corn cub without a single grain.

Corruption

Oil wells cannot be allocated to public companies but only to private individuals like T Y Danjuma, Dangote, Mrs Alakija (Africa's richest woman), Abdulsalami Abubakar, Obasanjo, Otedola e.t.c. Even when there is no oil in these people's father's land so that these few people can continue to suppress the masses.

For a moment I thought you were going to suggest that the Federal Government makes it mandatory for these companies to go public so that the masses can also tap into the nations oil wealth. Truth be told, even if the government decides to actually do as you suggested, not all graduates will be able to tap into it; I just can't see it working that way.

Yes going public is also a very good idea. In dubai the citizens dont work because the oil wealth gets to everybody, its indians and blacks that you see working in dubai. Hmmm nigerians really love suffering truly. In any other country this question will be sent to frontpage in order for all to discuss openly, i just keep loving this mannnnn

So simple sir!

No no no...its has little or nothing to do with corruption. Its simply GREED and the need to acquire more than one actually needs.

Imagine lying in your luxurious bedroom with your wives from different arabian countries... and every now and then you receive alerts from banks indicating $1-20million has been paid into your account. And this happens on a monthly basis since the 70s.

You have access to the same luxury Bill Gate has; private jets, estates in Palm Dubai, beautiful ladies around the world et al. Your 16 years grand kids and even distant relations drive the latest automobiles as P.Diddy.

Now tell me, will you just sit and watch any naughty "drunk" fisherman tamper with such decade long arrangement? Wouldn't you believe its your right to own those wells even though its far away in another man's land?

Wouldn't you use Boko Haram, regional parties, almanjiri, religious bigots, fear mongers, hate mongers, propagandists, media, ethnic bigots....just about anything possible to chase away any bloody maga that may be a barrier to the FG re-ISSUING the oil-well licence as soon as they begin to expire from 2014-2016?

Unfortunatelly for these greedy mofos, lots of things are likely to start changing from 2015. Op, your wish might just come through!
