OP, first off, u most prolly will be asked a simple question, one that has to deal wif current affairs or NYSC affairs, so, pls...go thru the handbook u were given and see if u can commit some names and abbreviations to ur memory. Know stuffs like the motto of NYSC, ur DG's name, ur state co-ordinators name and all NYSC staff names in ur state....after that, u maybe asked what u can do....pls! Be unique! My platoon won miss fabolous and mr. Macho NYSC batch c 2012 in Ondo state cos we gave em some tricks...now, when asked what u can do, pls, try do something that'll relate to the people in ur place of service...if ur serving in the North, prolly look for a very popular story about that side of the country. My platoon used that as a trick and it worked! Our miss fabolous narrated a short story about Oduduwa and how he descended from heaven and all...how he started the Yoruba race....it blew the NYSC officials away! Don't opt to "cat walk" or "smile" like most contestant would...u need to be different and unique! I pray this helps...And pls, try share some pics after the event...Goodluck!!! |

Simple current affairs, stuff about the NYSC, names of your state co-ordinator, camp commandant, NYSC anthem, shake some stuff and you're good to go. It's all about catching fun. Mr Macho was fun for me as I came 4th during my time so no big deal. |

@op this is lovely,reminds me of mine,first of all be confident,and smile ,not stupidly though,have a good poise,not necessarily professional,know your statistics.know details of the sponsors of the pagent,its fun ,buh also strive to win...a lot of incentives,I didn't ,I was so nonchalant cos of the fat mamas in my platoon who forced me into it...alas I won a lovely designed guiness tray..  |
