1. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for the initiation, development, evaluation and review of Supply Chain policies, strategies and plans.
 Provides optimal demand and supply planning for the business.
 Supervise, train and motivate departmental team to achieve annual Supply Chain targets.
 Provide intelligence regarding economic, legislative, political, technological and other factors that may influence the cost and availability
of raw materials.
 Establishment of re-order levels, re-order quantities and lead times for all store products.
 Implementation and monitoring of cost effective stock management, and distribution strategies within the overall framework of the
divisional.

2. MAIN FUNCTIONS

 To participate in the formulation of Divisional objectives, policies and strategies ensuring that the necessary logistics required for the
realization of Divisional objectives and goals are put in place.
 Establish, plan, implement and review company logistics policies, strategies and plans.
 Establish, evaluate and review Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators/targets.
 Managing the interface with Technical, Commercial, and Marketing and Sales teams, and the coordination of Regional Distribution
Centres, production planning meetings.
 Identify department’s human resource training and development gaps and recommend appropriate action, and/or implement hands-on
training/development.
 Establish and maintain records of sufficient sources of chicken, eggs, boneless beef, processed/related meat products and perishable
items and all store items.
 Strictly adhere to the Company’s policy on stock covers and agree order quantities with intension to prevent over/under stocking.
 Implement an efficient stock management policy to reduce level of waste and quality problems.
 Plan, monitor and control stock receipts, movements and issues to ensure Just In Time system pan Nigeria
 Ensure good housekeeping of raw, packaging and finished stocks in all our locations.
 Ensure safety of all assets in the section.
 Link with the Distribution section to successfully implement distribution of raw materials, packaging and finished stocks.
 Ensure constant generation of useful management data and advise the business adequately as they affect stocks and distribution
management.
 Link demand, production, stocks and distribution together in an operational network that will guarantee customer satisfaction and help in
achieving divisional targets.
 Plan and draw daily/weekly/monthly list of material requirements and raise requisition stating approved specifications. Follow up to
ensure purchase right and on time deliveries are made
 Drawing and operating weekly/monthly schedule for all deliveries to ensure stock availability while maintaining an effective stock
inventory.
3. To plan for short and long term raw/materials requirements of the Division, based on agreed Divisional plan and demand sales estimate.
4. Constantly compared actual usage rate with demand sales estimate and make the data generated available for management use
5. Liaise with Commercial department in monitoring usage variances of stock items in the factories and analyze the effect on stocks ordered.
6. Adequately monitors and controls all raw/materials stock, ordering levels, and all production activities

PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Must have a B Sc /HND
• Must have a minimum of 3 years cognate experience in store management
• Must be able to lead multiple initiatives through completion
• Must be able to multi-task and simultaneously handle important tasks
• Strong numeric and analytical skills
• Must good knowledge of computer
• Good Interpersonal skills
• Experience in the inventory industry
