Lawyers in the House, is one allowed to defense him/her self in Nigeria, even if it lead to the death of the aggressor? If this were in the US, depending on the State...there is a high probability that this boy will walk..some States will not even go through the trouble of charging him to court.

Just saved a boy from his sister (both are in their early teens) who was beating him violently with a stick and kicks to his groin and stomach for damaging his earphone.

What has happened has happened,now,devil to be blamed,well,the law is no respecter of anybody,he has to face the music himself alone.but I see it as a case of self defense (Kazeen rest in peace)

The Retreat rule will apply,if he had enough time,he should have escaped. For self defence to avail,the danger must be immediate. He might however plead provocation which to me is his best defence in this case. But judging from the age of the offender,he will not be tried in a open court and the best penalty he can get is an accomodation in the remand home
