PREREQUISITE OPERATION

1. Buyer sends Letter of Acceptance to the Seller’s Mandate or Sales Consultant
expressing their willingness to buy the product based on the specified
purchase terms.
2. Buyer counter-signs and returns Seller’s SPA with essential submittals.
PURCHASE PROCEDURE
1. Buyer counter-sign SPA and return with a valid vessel details to includeCPA,
Q88, Charter Receipt, ATL Addressed to Seller, and ensure that their
Inspector/Supercargo are onboard their vessel.
2. Seller confirms the validity of Buyer’s vessel particulars and forwards them to their
Loader for clearance. Buyer sends BANK COMFORT LETTER in the specified
format if contracted quantity is above 40,000 metric tons.
3. Buyer’s boards Seller’s Co-ordinate Naval Officer in their vessel to Port Harcourt
in order to supervise security of the cargo as Seller’s Loader prepares Buyer’s
Vessel for loading outside the terminal.


4. Seller’s Direct Loader opens communication with Buyer’s vessel and NNPC
Refinery Shuttle vessel trans-ships product into Buyer’s vessel.
5. Immediately after loading is completed, Buyer’s Supercargo and Seller’s Coordinate
Officer confirms product on Buyer’s vessel. Buyer’s Inspector on-board
conducts Q&Q and submits its report within 4 hours.
6. Buyer and his Bank Officer receive soft copy of Official Cargo documents, Seller’s
Commercial Invoice and Q&Q report for Payment.
7. Buyer’s Bank SWIFT payment for the full cargo into Seller’s Account and that of all
commissioned Agents/Facilitators.
8. Hard copies of all necessary documents are handed over to the Buyer and vessel
sails away.

IMPORTANT NOTE
A 50 MILLION NAIRA DISCOUNTABLE PAYMENT IS REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY
AFTER LOADING TO COVER LOGISTICS & CLEARANCE IF BUYER DID NOT
MEET THE FOLLOWING TERMS;
a. Buyer’s Inspector & Supercargo is not on-board Buyer’s receiving vessel.
b. Buyer does not want to give Bank Comfort Letter as Payment assurance
