Sweet Like Shuga “Sweet Like Shuga” – the title track from the upcoming MTV Base/MTV Staying Alive drama Shuga(Season 3) - has been released! Check it out below. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD TRACK “Sweet Like Shuga” is about the temptations faced by young people and echoes some of the key storylines in the Shuga TV series, which finds its key cast members engaging in a whole range of risky behaviours from multiple sexual partners to unprotected sex, teenage pregnancy, gender based violence and failing to disclose their HIV status. MTV Base has commissioned celebrated Nigerian music video director Clarence Peters to create the music video for “Sweet Like Shuga”, which will premiere exclusively on Spanking New on MTV Base(DStv Channel 322) in November 2013.
