In essence? Go into blogging for the fun and passion and find a way to monetize that passion. Already in it for money? Find a way to love your work! You'll handle frustration better when it comes...and trust me, it must come!

2. Quit being lazy: Blogging isn't a way to make quick and lazy money. You must work your brains out to be successful in this business. It's a pity we're told that we can make money blogging even if we sleep. That's a damn lie. To make it blogging, you must treat your blog like a business and put in the requisite number of hours if you're to reap any rewards.

3. Promote your posts! The whole business of blogging revolves marketing your blog and posts to garner readers. Without them, a blog is simply one dry entity that will never make you a dime. How well do you market your blog or better still, advertise your posts? If you're not so sure, you're in for some big disappointment !
