The Mexican drug cartels are some of the most feared and vicious organizations on the planet. Anyone, particularly in (but not limited to) Mexico, who threatens these gangs does so with immense risk to themselves and anyone they know.
Despite this, men like 23-year-old Serafin Zamabada Ortiz, use their Twitter accounts like a public showcase of their wealth and illegal activities. Ortiz is the son of the Sinaloa Cartel’s second in command, Ismael Zambada.
For your information, the Sinaloa Cartel is identified by the United States Intelligence Community as the most powerful drug trafficking organization in the world. Thus, in some ways, it makes sense that Ortiz would be so cavalier considering how untouchable he actually is.
Still, some of his Twitter uploads are pretty eye-opening. Between the Bentleys, the gold-plated Ak-47s, the huge bags of weed and the pet cheetahs, these guys are clearly not strapped for cash.
