A Toyota Camry 2.2 was on Monday 25th November stolen in Awka. When it was reported, we started tracking and found out it was in Owerri. Yesterday afternoon we went with Police from Awka to recover the vehicle. The vehicle was parked at Anoukwu Street off Douglas Road Owerri. Very near to the market. When we got there, the cars tires with rims and bumper has been changed to give the car a new look and the car had new plate number. The vehicle was locked and as we were looking for a towing van to tow the vehicle, the thief, not knowing that we came to recover the car, came out, opened the door, started the vehicle and wanted to drive away. The Police guys quickly rushed him and gave him the beating of his life before taking him to the Police Station. We tried to get a good picture of the guy but the Police wont let us
