While using the rest room (Emptying your bowels), have you ever stripped off your clothing’s completely? If you answered YES, I guess you did so to avoid interference. You needed to “enjoy” the “activity”. That moment was like a new experience. At the end, you achieved your purpose.

Like the experience described above, studying should come with some excitement, fulfillment. Every learning session should be an experience; worth the time, pleasurable, rewarding and memorable. Memorable here means easy recall of the studied material.

Effective studying is often advised to be carried out in a silent, private environment – the Library.

In my case, I prefer to read in an environment with some background noise or music. No two people study the same way, and what works for one person may not work for another. Therefore, you need to discover what timing, location and approach etc suits your learning.

In subsequent writings we shall be exploring different study method and general learning techniques that produces good results.
