pls my uncle just sent me a laptop but its not powering on unless it is plugged thru the charger but when i remove the charger, it goes off again and its saying battery not detected. pls what do u think its the problem and its solution. thanks

Get a new battery if an old laptop or allow to charge for a longer period if brand new.

If it's showing charging sign but battery not detected then battery is dead. Cost depends on the model and where yu are based. I would advise you visit the nearest computer village closest to you - Saka Tinubu, VI or Otigba, Ikeja all in Lagos. Cost is between 5K to 20K ...you can also search on NL to find sellers.
