Anambra Election Update: Senator Chris Ngige Dismisses result by FreeGlobe(f): 7:35pm On Dec 01, 2013
All Progressives Congress (APC) Guber Candidate in the Anambra , Senator Chris Ngige, has dismissed the result of the election, alleging that the state government connived with the electoral commission to declare
Mr. Willie Obiana of the All Progressives Alliance winner.
The Director General of the Ngige Campaign Organisation, Mr. George Moghalu told our repoter in a telephone conversation that the result was a sign of desperation both on the part of the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega and the government of Anambra State.
“What happened in Anambra State on November 16 was not an election. It was a sham. INEC should stop embarrassing us. We had expected that we have passed this stage but most unfortunately we are worse-off,” he said.
Mr. Moghalu said that the supplementary election, which his party did not take part in, was a conclusion of a set agenda.
“INEC is expected to create an enabling environment for democracy to thrive.
“Announcing Willie Obiano as governor elect should not come to anybody as a surprise because that is the agenda,” he stressed.
The APC had called for a total cancelation of the November 16 election citing series of irregularities in the process.
INEC said that the irregularities witnessed in the process were not enough to cancel the election and scheduled a supplementary election for November 30.
The APC rejected the decision of the electoral commission and advised its supporters to boycott the supplementary election.

Op you and Ngige should get lost. We have had enough quarrel over this Anambra election on the internet and media. The last time i checked courts are not on strike. Seek redress with your outcast father ngige there and quit boring us with your bad looser attitude here. Funny enough, Tony Nwoye is next in line even if the courts takes any contrary decision. So why all this sinister and diabolical smear campaign by you and your fellow Okija shrine faithfuls.

We are expecting Ngige to reject the results, it is typical of the APC candidates, their supporters and their party!

We are so lucky that this is Anambra, where it to be some places, by now blood will be flowing so free!

Here are just few of the reason why the election should be cancelled:

- INEC's chairman personally said it. The election failed short than any past election (we all know some nasty past election - This is the worst of all).
- More than 50% of the electorates and a major candidate (the PDP candidate - Tony Nwoye) could not find his name on the register, after it was there two weeks before the election when INEC displayed it.
- It is on record INEC changed the voters register 3 times before the election. The one used in 2011 elections, the one displayed 2 weeks to the election and the one used on the election day - the most people did not see their names.
- It is a fact that Obiano (the APGA candidate), have 3 voters cards - a crime that attracts jail term. Here are the VINs (1) 90F5 B12B 0129 6204 172, (2) 90F5 B15E 7D37 8200 332, and (3) 90F5 B12B 8837 7091 121. According to the Electoral Law, he cannot vote or be voted for in any election in Nigeria. This is what we call multiple registration.
- All the top candidates have pulled out of this fraud and its Supplementary Elections. The parties include PDP, APC, LP and others.
- INEC Chairman publicly stated that some of its officers and APGA led government officials were arrested for getting bribed to displace Result-Returning forms, voting materials and also for making sure materials were late on there opponents stronghold.
