He died in his place early hours of this morning(01/12/2013)after a brief illness. The Oba ascended the throne on the 12th of August, 2013 after he was recalled from London shortly after the former Oba was dethroned after he physically abused his wife. The late Oba attended the wedding ceremony of his son two weekends ago in Lagos before passing on this morning. May his soul rest in peace.
