Ram is too low OS is an old version which can't do what 4.0 OS can do then what is d reason for buying it, let not hype this phone. Is nothing to write home about in this era of mobile tech.

symbian03: Huawei probably signed a deal with mtn with this old and outdated phone just to sell off the old stock - now see mtn offering rubbish 50mb per month for 12 months lol :-) Nigerians are gullible and tech freak so people will definitely buy them off.

Just to correct people's notion about Huawei phones and android devices. Huawei is a tech giant in china and have a far better android phones example is the Huawei ascend p6 with 2gb ram, Corning gorilla glass, 312 ppi pixel density, with jellybean 4.2.2.

It's a shame that Huawei which happens to be among the top three vendors in cdma technology and among the top five gsm vendors worldwide has continually overlooked the Nigerian market when it comes to mobile devices.
Their huge presence as vendor in Nigeria where they offer services to MTN,GLO and others would have an eye opener in the possibilities that abound in the android market here in Nigeria.
It baffles me that while they ignored Nigeria they were officially introducing some of their low end devices in Kenya as at the third quarter of 2010 I find it disturbing that a smart company like Huawei would ignore the impact of wrong timing which affected their mobile device that was introduced by Etisalat. The resultant effect of that delay was low patronage. The said product which was on 2.2 Froyo was introduced at a time when Gingerbread was the minimum standard.
They would be introducing a quad core budget device that would run on 4.2 at around 25k which would first be launched in China and later in India and as usual they won't include Nigeria.
