PROLOGUE


Crash! She slammed their laptop on the floor. She stood at akimbo looking at the both of them with a frown on her face. Oh! No Mummy, why destroy our four months sweat, James said to himself.

“Mummy! Why?” John yelled. “That system has three million nine hundred and fifty three lines of code!”

James and John, came out of their mother’s womb the same day, the same hour, the same minute, but thirty two seconds interval. They happened to be the only children of their parents. Their parents, Mr and Mrs Richard, were well respected in the society. Mr Richard was a regional manager of a reputable bank in Nigeria while Mrs Richard, worked with a telecommunication company, also in Ngeria. They had peace in their home not until they gave birth to James and John, the two technology wizards.

“I don’t care!” She yelled at them. “What’s the nonsense I'm hearing about the leaked jamb questions?”

They looked at each other, then shifted their focus back to their mum. “Mum? Was that why you destroyed our work?” John question.

“Our system and our life.” James added. “We know nothing about it. Mum, come to think of it, we weren’t the only people arrested for the hacking of Zendix database but you chose to accuse us again for another technology attack.”

Their mum was drawn in pity and sorry for her action. “Come here you both.” She called them, hugged them and patted their heads and said, “my little geniuses. Mummy is sorry.”

“Get us another laptop, then we would know you’re.” John said.

“Yes, another one. Mac, this time.” James added.

Their mum smiled. “I would get you both a laptop each for yourselves.”

They came out of her arms and jumped on her simultenously. “Mum, thank you.”

“You boys are heavy and grown, come on stop acting like babies.” She said and smiled.

She let them down to the floor and exited their room. James and John looked at each other and laughed out loud.

“Weak database.” John said, still laughing hard.

“Five thousand lines of code got the damn questions out.” James added.

“Unto the next big thing bro.” James said, moved closer to John and shook him.

“Jay Jay!” Their mum called.
