On the 16th of May, 2013 around 4:00 AM (I was in Maiduguri that time), GSM network were shutdown due to some security reasons "we were all aware of"... Following the recent massive attack carried out by BH in Maiduguri metropolis, which we were already hoping things are getting, curfew has been imposed in the state capital so long enough that the indigenes has to remain indoor for most hours of the day. To make things little better them, GSM network was restored in the early hours of today 3rd of Dec, 2013.


PS: Should in case you are trying to reach your friends and family out there, take note that NOT all of them are receiving calls yet, but you can simply text them instead.
