A Social Media Officer is needed with an attractive salary.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement our social media strategy, coordinating with other function to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s products and services
• Work with the production/ packaging function to ensure social media tools (e.g. Facebook connect, Sharing buttons) are kept up to date
• Manage social media campaign and day-to-day activities including online advocacy, writing articles and editorials community-outreach efforts, promotions, announcements, sales campaigns etc.

• Manage corporate presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pnterest, Youtube, Digg, Instagram, and other similar national and local community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed

• Advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogue and answering questions where appropriate

• Establish a blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the company

• Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results

• Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing, Editorial, Customer Service and Operations functions, to help evolve our strategies in a timely fashion

• Monitor trends in social media and ensure the company remains up to date

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must be a vibrant social media personality with a strong network of followers on his/ her personal profiles on Facebook, Twitter and national and local social media sites.

• Must be an excellent networker on and offline


Qualifications/ Requirements
• Minimum of OND in any Field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, tactful and persuasive
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Exposure to Microsoft office packages
