Samsung Galaxy S5 To Hit The Shelves Before Christmas by scubed(m): 2:37pm On Dec 04, 2013
There is no surprise that there have been news in regards to the introduction of Samsung Galaxy S5, as we must not forget that the annual release plan for Smartphone flagships has become standard in recent years. Galaxy S2 was made public on February and released in May 2011 and the Galaxy S3 was made open to in May 2012. Galaxy S4 was displayed in March 2013, and released by Samsung that same year, in the month of April; a month later. There have been different reports as to when the device will be introduced to the market; January, March, April and May are all speculated as the released date. Well, one thing is sure, even if the date is not, the South Korean company will try its best to push this device as far as possible during and after its launch. Samsung Galaxy S5 Might Hit The Shelves Sooner Than ExpectedSamsung’s CEO of Mobile Shin Jong-Kyun has stated that the company’s “next Smartphones will have 64-bit processing”. There are rumours that the chip would be delayed and wouldn’t appear until the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was released later in 2014. Perhaps that is pretty not certain. There are rumours that the pending Samsung product, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be waterproof and dustproof out of the box. Of course, no one should totally discard this rumour, as this is something the South Korean company could do. Samsung Smartphones are renowned for their extra software features, with Smart Stay and Smart Pause turning off the screen and pausing videos respectively when the front-facing webcam detects you looking away. The company may go a step further with the Galaxy S5; adding eye scanning security if a new patent filing proves. We gathered that the device will be 5-inch, and will feature a flexible display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a pixel density of 560 ppi. It is also believed the device might have a 16MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, NFC and a 4,000 mAh battery. Among the gist is that Samsung might be embracing Android 4.4 KitKat as the operating system for the pending device. It is also reported that Samsung sold an estimate of 20 million Samsung Galaxy S4s within two months of hitting the shelves. And it will be interesting to see if the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S5 will do better than the Galaxy S4 in the market. Do you feel the Samsung Galaxy S5 will make a sales record after hitting the shelves, and perhaps the South Korean company will be successful in luring iPhone users and other brand loyalists to its projected device (Samsung Galaxy S5)?
