Did GEJ not declare 3days of mourning for Mandela in Nigeria? So what are you on about.. .?

If you governor could not draw inspiration from somewhere to remember Mandela is His own way,who is to be blamed? I know my commorade Governor will no doubt do something like the rascal!

If you do not know, this has another positives because when tourist google places of interest to visit with names like Mandela, Osun state will show up and that will get people reading about Osun state and never know what can spring up from there.

On a more serious note, its not a bad idea to me.. The man is just worth it, if not more than self.. Atleast, to show our leaders its not all about embezzlement. Do good and, u'll be remebered for good all over the world..

I tot streets and places worldwide were named after this great man, y re some peeps here saying trash and "tribalising" the matter, although I think it is politically motivated. #my2cents

Honoring Mandela is no foolishness, Mandela did not have to be a Nigerian, Chinese, Canadian, French or American to impact the world, the fact that you are unaware makes you a foolish man.

There is nothing bad in this decision, back in d early 90's shortly when he was released from prison,I remembered we( in secodary school then) do an hair stlye called mandela. It was because he was an hero, is good we remember him. What did sani Abacha do that made them name some streets in big city,even a barrack after him?

There is Olusegun Obasanjo road in Accra, in fact the road is around the Ghanaian seat of power.

There are streets named Ibadan and Lagos in Accra as well.

Obj is not Ghanaian neither is Ibadan or Lagos...

Recognition or immortalisation knows no borders, and the magnitude is as big as the personality involved.
