I was in church today and during the sermon the pastor read a verse where God said 'Jacob have I loved but Esau have I hated' and the older shall serve the younger. Now Esau and Jacob were innocent kids who I want to believe had not known sin. It can be distinguished from the story of Cain and Abel where we saw where Cain went wrong. But my question is this, why did God hate Esau? What did he do? |
