Burn after Reading- This movie... Like the CIA chief tritely commented at the end of the movie "what a clusterfuck!" Chief: "What the fvck did we learn, Palmer? Palmer: I don't know sir. Chief: I guess we learn not to do it again. Palmer: Yes sir Chief: I am fvcked if we know what we did. Palmer: Yes, sir, it's hard to say. Chief: Jesus F. Christ!" And vanity triumphs at the end of the day! Everyone is sleeping with everyone, and the whole clusterfvck is exacerbated by a woman with low self esteem. Gosh, this movie... I am going to binge on all the Coen brothers productions.  8.5/10 biko |

Octopusssy: I loved that movie. The pure chaos from all of the parties, and in the end, a pile of dead bodies, and absolutely nothing of importance was ever at stake. Malkovich (Cox) finally losing his_shit in the end though... Pure dark comedic moment. Or before Brat Pitt's character got shot in the face? The look on his face was hilarious af. The Coens at the whimsical best.  |

Octopusssy:Well said. At the bolded, i was exaggerating & also, i was just pulling your legs. And you're right, the movie was loosely based on an anime series by the same title. I was just kinda aghast that someone who likes Jackie's style of slapstick action comedy, would actually not fancy the movie, but like you said We can't all love the same things. |

pryme: Have just finished seeing this, and I gotta say I much prefer Donnie Yen's IP Man trilogy (esp the first two). They're better edited, with better fight scenes, and more compelling characters. Grandmaster is a snoozefest in comparison. I probably would have viewed it more favorably if it had preceded Donnie Yen's IP Man. |

BREAKING NEWS Avengers: Endgame has finally gone and done it, fellas! The MCU superhero film is now the highest grossing film of all-time! Avatar has lost it's long-held title at last! I lost a bet too. Never thought it will happen, not gonna lie. History Of Highest Grossing Films - Birth of a Nation - Gone with the Wind - The Sound of Music - The Godfather - Jaws - Star Wars: A New Hope - E.T. - Jurassic Park - Titanic - Avatar - Avengers: Endgame I can authoritatively attest to the fact that it's a hell of a line-up, for i've seen all... with the exception of Birth of a Nation.
