Remember when they told us that no price is too much for the acquisition of knowledge?

Why waste your time watching fiction and adulterated true events movie adaptation when you can simply take a trip to the North Eastern region of Nigeria and have an up close personal experience?

Not a movie but The Brave story line is centered on Boko haram insurgency.

Old movie but I watched <The hatefull eight > today and all I can say is that nobody beats Samuel L Jackson. But the amount of Nigg@ that was spoken by the white folks was surprising. Nice movie 8/10 at least.

This has to be the dumbest, horrible, trashy non DC movie I have watched in the last 5 years.

I wanted to see Godzilla fighting not useless humans.
Lots of people close to a nuclear explosion and not dying.
A Bomb killing Godzilla and a bomb bring him back

Finally, big for nothing Godzilla angry
What a piece of trash movie grin

Hello guys, chime in on this
I am happy with all the improvement but mainstream nollywood movies now look and feel like music videos. I believe most of our filmmakers go for flashy cinematography instead of that serious/realistic or gritty.
The violence is for fashion. I try to show my guys(who only watch action) that only 1 death in a film can be more painful than a 100 deaths. All this movies & their actors just want to look cool.
Another thing, the writing is like packing all the cliche in any genre they like.
Nollywood is not interested in stories, they are interested in genre, this results in generic stories. since you want to fit a template (genre)
A film teacher/ producer once told me if your film doesn't have action, comedy, romance & blablabla, go and rewrite it.
How about I just tell a story, that is why Nigerian literature is still respected today.
I may be wrong but if I am right there are exceptions. I come here and I see people who appreciate great stories why can't nollywood make a film that deserves the Palme d'Or.
