The 18 page letter sent to GEJ by former president,OBJ has been generating serious controvasies since the said letter was first published online by Sahara Reporters.
In my personal opinion I think OBJ was a far better president than GEJ has been so far, in 2007 OBJ left Nigeria a debt free state with $67b in our foreign reserve and additional $22b in excess crude account.
In 1999 when OBJ came into power Nigeria had just $1.5m in foreign reserve and tons of debt to clear, the international community were not interested or want to have anything to do with Nigeria as they regarded us a failed state.
It took OBJ series of direct canvanssing to have the international community to change their stance on Nigeria, I'm not in any way saying that OBJ is a saint or corrupt free but he did far more for this country than we give him credit for.
Today our external debt stood at $10.20b and was $3b when GEJ too over power as acting president, thats to say GEJ has borrowed far more than any democratic elected president in the history of the country.
OBJ was also direct and bold in the fight against corruption with many high profile conviction recorded, some of those convicted were Fani Kayode,Sunday Einhdero,Chief Bode George and Tafa Balogun.
OBJ also laid 80% foundation of the power being generated today as the plants were built by his administration, all GEJ needed was to service the power plants and supply gas to them to meet the govt's target in MW, billions of dollars has been spent so far by GEJ with little to show for as we currently have a mere 1,200MW in distribution to serve 160m people.
GEJ's govt is also being regarded as the most expensive and largest govt in the world, his N1b food allowance is unrivalled by any president or leader.
Sentiment aside, OBJ to me was a better president than GEJ.
.
Lets have your opinion.

By a long mile.
Far ,far better.
If you understand how government and economies work,
Then you will understand that there are no basis for comparism .
The little things you have to do before , you can afford to build stuffs, increase salaries and create jobs.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

IF OIL PRICES WERE TO DROP BELOW $70 a barrel TODAY,
NIGERIA IS FINISHED
