Most Nigerians Listen to and even Like Rock or soft rock Music, Why don't we make that field flourish here ?

Nigerians like to party and thus such would not hold ground here cause dey won't pay to see a rock concert rather dey would want to see people like WizKid, we actually have artist that can dive into dat venture but its not profitable enough so dey stick to d party jamz.

yea true but, I still know some people that would prefer to go to a rock concert. I fink one thing that would help is putting dem in award categories

very true but d band wont last like dat of say cold play, linkin park etc

Aside the fact that rock music may not sell, it would also cost more to do a rock track cos it would require live instruments and some hardware. A typical naija music is done on softwre which is cheaper.

yea, but once you just get the instruments with you d first time , u dnt need to get dem again. And I believe it can sell, it needs good promotion

but lets b factual Nigerians don't appreciate good music, look at d likes of Bez dis guy makes good music but he is not as popular as timaya or even solidstar and dis to me is d reason y most artist jump from good music to wack party jamz cause Nigerian don't appreciate der kind of music.

I haven't heard of "clay" but nw dat u mention it I would check her out but Bez isn't dat popular.
