there was no insider @ all.i got the form for him myself online,ĥȇ went for the exams and then ĥȇ was shortlisted.we didn't believe it,i had to double-check.ђƺΩ̴̸̨̩̩̩̥ he even came back after the exams,he lost hope cos of what he heard @ the exam venue(pple were callin top rankin military officers)but God did it

At times, it's depends on the discipline someone acquired. There are some profession that are not questionable.

My brother i have been following the naf dssc 2013 thread on nairaland since the application stage, all 149 pages and i have read comments from people who have always been saying its only GOD they have since page 1........Now its page 149 the list is out and at least 4 of those people are rejoicing without a godfather......so there is always the odd space for merit

If you have a really connected godfather, exams and interview is a bloody waste of time. New People will still find themselves at the training ground practicing shooting range with the cadets who have been originally taken.

I went for army dssc interview, and what I saw there was absolutely discouraging. People who didn't even buy forms or have their names published on the national dailies were jogging 3.2km with us with equal potentials of becoming officer or maybe even a higher probability.

God Help Nigeria.

Nigeria is just a scam Nation.

Bros seem you gbadu torii....make I share my experience nah
I was travelling to villa with my senior bro who I picked from the airport that fateful morning, when we got to a particular narrow path, only a car can pass through the path at a time. So it happened that this white hilux van, unbranded with well tinted glass and private number was still negotiating its way into path while I was already few seconds into the path, when the hilux van eventually got closer, the driver asked me to reverse so that he will pass before I pass but I insisted, the driver wind down his glass and I saw like three men but they were on white polos, I thought that they were policemen that escorted the governor back home so i decided to form say I know my right, I started flexing my voice for the supposed policemen, even my brother that just came back joined me(the guy thought he is still in germany) we lectured them on rights bla bla bla....at a point I just put off my ignition, increased the volume of the cd and shouted to them that "I have the whole time in the world to waste" omo na this particular statement kill me that day, the hilux door opened and the driver stepped out, na that time I realised that am in trouble...at first I saw an averagely tall man putting on white vest, I looked down and then saw the camouflage he was putting on...two more stepped out from the back but they weren't putting on any camouflage apart from millitary hat.....only God knows how many times I died and woke up that day, I just tapped my bros and told him to get ready to experience millitary welcome...the guys walked up to our car, asked us to step down, one of the guys entered my car and went and parked it inside the bush and leaked the whole tires after that the real show began....we do all kinds of purnishments; me and my newly arrived Nigeria brother, we did frog jump, pick pin, sit on the air, rolled ourselves in the mould and all sorts of stunts that day....it took the intervention of passersby who knew us and rushed down to our compound and alerted our relatives who now called a millitary captain who is a friend of the family. After the incident, my bros was admitted for three days in the hospital. My family tried following up the case but inbetween the whole thing they backed out. Since then, me no carry eyes dey see millitary boys.

You are right man.Even the screening test we did was so easy for 80% to fail. And one begins to wonder if truly it was based on the test. You need a STRONG connection to be chosen as an officer.

Are you saying, you're one of the selected applicants for kaduna screening between 17-26 of November, 2013? If yes, please share your experience with us.
