I wonder why this is not on Nairaland yet.

Since yesterday banks in Imo state have not been operational. And to add salt to the injury the banks have refused to fund the ATMs.

A whole lot of us are stranded here. Some banks that still have money on their ATMs were reported to be collecting N500 each from people before using the machine.

I heard there's a war going on between the banks and the state government. Whatever the problem is, the grasses are definitely suffering it.

Right now I have only N500 cash on me....Gush!
