i cross d sea to d white people's land
not that am not proud of my land,but i found myself der against my will
i was capture as a slave
i was sold by my own people
they called me negro
they said am a slave
they treat me like an animal
because they think dat is what i am
i asked wat is my offence,they said it is because of my skin colour
but am proud of my skin
i am proud dat am black
that is how my creator wanted me to be
and am pleased with it
i will not bleach my skin
neither will i do plastic surgery
my skin is d best
and my culture is d richest
i am happy,because i know oneday
africa will rule d world.
