He has gone ahead to create a new marketing course so as to market his small business effectively for huge profit that will enlarge his business. He visited his friend, Ken, to tell him about the new development. He was so excited telling Ken all about the new marketing course that he had just developed and how awesome it was. Ken patiently sat and listened to him.

He was just looking at Smith how he was really enthused about what he had just created. After Smith had finished his boasting and gloating Ken stood up and started to walk away, he said, “That’s great Smith. Now the real trick is to get people to buy it.” Smith reacted to his comment and said, “What do you mean? Of course people are going to buy it. It’s the best work I’ve done to date.” But as Smith Think deeply on the comment of Ken he quickly realized that he had actually forgotten the principle objective of his business.

Ken reminded Smith that his principle occupation was NOT marketing consulting; it’s the MARKETING of consulting services.
