Lagos PDP Passes Vote Of Confidence On Jonathan by Nobody: 12:41am On Dec 20, 2013
The Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP), Lagos State chapter, on
Thursday, passed a vote of
confidence on the party’s national
leader, President Goodluck
Jonathan, for delivering the gains
of democracy to Nigerians.
Speaking at its General Assembly
held at the party’s secretariat, the
state chairman, Tunji Shelle, said
the various reforms carried out by
the President and the successes
recorded shows that the
Transformation Agenda by the
Jonathan administration has
contributed in no small measure
to the development of the nation.
It listed power reforms, National
Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS),
road constructions and expansion,
sports development, huge growth
in telecommunications, dredging
of the River Niger, increase in
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)
and maintenance of lives and
properties as some of the reasons
it gave a pass mark to the
Jonathan-led administration.
On the All Progressives Congress
(APC), the party said acquisition
of power is the only motive of
APC leaders and not the delivery
of gains of democracy to the
masses.
“The emergence of APC may be
good for democracy but we also
realise that the essence of the
party is not convincing, going by
the antecedents of its promoters
and the evil their quest for power
portends for our dear nation. The
whole scheming is just to secure
power for selfish reasons and not
for the interest of the people as
being propagated”.
“We are beginning to see cracks
in APC and this is likely to
degenerate before the next
election, setting the stage for and
implosion and possible flow back
into PDP. This has happened
before and will still happen,” the
party said.

Nice work PDP Lagos State - Now I shall relocate to lagos in 2014 let's join forces and send apc out of Alausa.
We need to engage all the market men and women, normal legitimate business Northerners that are unjustly tagged 'Boko Haram', Okada Riders, Keke drivers, taxi drivers, Danfo Driver, Igbo traders (that have already pledge their support), all other Tribes that are treated like alliens in their own country, most Yorubas that are not given fair share, business men and women who pay double tax and are continually harrassed by tifnubu touts, all workers who continue to pay high taxes in the state, Students whose school feels have been increased off the hook, the beggars and unemployed despite the huge revenue accrued to the state.
All those whose house have been demolished and those whose lands have been seized.
And with the immense support from Abuja, let's show the how politics is played.
While they are busy writting letters and chasing shadows in the name of winning the Presidency, let's hit them hard below the belt.
I urge all other Tribe resident in Lagos to join in this Fight - and let's take back Lagos State from one man.
Lagos does not belong to any family but NIGERIANS
